The Shimano Curado DC Baitcast Reel is equipped with 7 stainless steel anti-rust ball bearings for a completely smooth operation. A highly rigid “Hagane Body” eliminates distortion as well as flex during reeling and protects the interior of the reel from unexpected impact.
Another great feature is the X-Ship system which achieves powerful and smooth cranking thanks to the gear system that is designed to effectively transmit input power. X-Ship is a combination of a cold-forged main gear married with a brass drive gear. The two metals will not eat away at each other, which provides a longer-lasting performance, as well as a smoother, more powerful retrieve.
